Swim Meets

Dual Meets

Dual meets are weekly meets held against other swim teams in the division. This summer, our team will be competing in five dual meets. Warmups begin between 7:00-7:30 a.m. (6:15-6:45 p.m. for night meets) and meets run from 8-9:30/10 a.m. (7:15-8:45/9:15 p.m. for night meets). Swimmers must arrive at the dual meet location no later than 7 a.m (6:15 p.m. for night meets). If you arrive late, you may be scratched from the lineup.

2024 Champs Results

Please consult the team email for information regarding the Champs lineup, alternates, locations, and times. Unlike regular dual meets, the team submits only one swimmer for individual events and relays at Champs. See your coach with any specific questions.

A swimmer must have competed in at least THREE dual meets to be eligible for Champs.

Class Meets

Designed for individual competition and improvement, class meets are optional meets held during the week at local Town of Hempstead municipal pools. Participation in a class meet is determined by a swimmer’s best time in a specific event. Warmups for all class meets begin at 3:15 p.m. and meets begin at 4 p.m. Swimmers must provide their own transportation to class meets.

While we encourage all of our swimmers to attend the class meets for which they qualify, the meets are optional and do not take the place of dual meets to count towards eligibility for the championship meet.

Please speak to your coach if you're interested in attending a class meet.

Christopher Crafa Memorial Blue & White Meet

Initiated in 2014, the Blue & White Meet was renamed in memory of one of our former swimmers, Christopher Crafa, after his passing in 2019. Christopher swam on the "A" Team with his triplet brothers, John and Thomas, from 2004-2014. He also swam for the Garden City High School and Catholic University. This annual meet is an opportunity to celebrate not only the end of the swim season but also Christopher, his enthusiasm and love for the sport, and the profound impact he made on all those who knew and loved him.

All swimmers and parents, as well as any former swimmers, parents, and coaches, are invited to join us for the 2024 Christopher Crafa Memorial Blue & White Meet. The meet will be held on Sunday, August 4th, from 8-10 a.m.
